Just a quick post to my forgotten blog, a recent McAfee update decided to push two intermediate certs into the trusted root store on the machine account….you can imagine the fall out in terms of TLS issues, plenty of EVENT ID 32178 errors amongst others.
McAfee have kindly flagged it and provided solution detail;

This passed me by, for past few years I’ve been banging the drum of the lack of cmdlets for managing Lync \ SfB online particularly in terms of client policies which ended up in pushing registry keys to manage the client in an online only environment. Thus my shock to see a few posts in and around the community on doing just that, configuring client policies online….. when did that happen ?
This led me to have a cursory glance at one of my tenants and lo and behold we now have 133 cmdlets ! As usual this makes the information on TechNet a little outdated, in the coming days I’ll hopefully try some of these and compare to the on-premises counterparts;

Year on year I keep starting and stopping blogging, this time I plan to finally make this stand however with a young family in tow having the time has been quite the luxury…
First and foremost introductions, I am an IT Consultant in the UK (how many times have you heard that phrase ?) that operates mainly in the Microsoft space and more commonly the UC stack yet I have a flair for wider technologies given half the time.
